2-Component EPI adhesive applying machine with automated START/STOP drive system

GLM-10 EPI GLULAM is designed for manufacturing of glue laminated timbers, KVH wooden beams, wooden i-beams and cross laminated timbers (CLT).

Dimensions of the applying areas are in the range of:

• width - up to 350 mm.
• length - up to 13000 mm.
• height - up to 400 mm.

Gluestream GLM-10 EPI Glulam consists of:

• Two-component EPI adhesive applying portal.
• Pump station.
• Control panel with PLC.

GLM-10 EPI is the last generation of EPI adhesive applying machinery, where mixing of the components of the EPI system is performed in the static mixer immediately before application, providing the a high quality of mixing. 

Feeding of EPI components of adhesives is performed by two high-precision dosing pumps, applying the precisely determined amount of the adhesive (±5g/m2), leveling difference of the adhesive viscosity. Due to the fact, that component A is a water based, the pump is made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion and as a reason to prevent the adhesive layer from redness.

GLM-10 EPI is equipped with an automated beams’ transportation system and START/STOP system, that determines the beginning and end of the workpiece. 

All Gluestream machinery is equipped with a remote access module, providing the customer with 24/7 online internet support.
